i found a shared full kitchen on the top floor, a nice surprise i did not expect. the hotel features a fitness room, which includes cardio equipment and weights. parking was convenient with a safe area provided for vehicles.
the walls seemed thin, i could hear noise from adjacent rooms.

the room was large and quiet! the heavy drapery kept the sun out, ensuring a cool space. a whitespot restaurant was located on site, i also had plenty of hot water .
This sometimes caused a bit of a wait during peak hours. it wasn't a major issue, but it was noticeable.

the air conditioning unit was a bit loud for my taste.

the hotel sits near the shore and trolley bus routes. skytrain is quite close also. this made it easy to get around the city without a car.

i found the front desk staff helpful. the rooftop kitchen area was nice and clean and i used it to prepare some meals. i also appreciated that they promised me a taxi for my early flight and it arrived on time (a real relief!).
i did notice a lingering fish smell in my room. maybe the previous guests cooked seafood. some air freshener would likely help.

I found the location quite accessible. it was a short walk to robson street and yaletown, which i appreciated. the lobby was cute. I noticed umbrella sharing and rentable chargers were available. the penthouse and sauna were a nice addition, i used them a lot.
the pillows were uncomfortable, which affected my sleep quality. i think new pillows would be beneficial.

the gym had sufficient equipment for a good workout, including several cardio machines and free weights. i observed the sauna was clean and well-kept, a plus. i liked the guest laundry on the penthouse deck.

The rooftop patio offered a lovely view. The mini fridge was very useful. It kept my beverages cold. I found the water pressure in the shower quite strong.
